Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP)2002-2004 Mercury Bigfoot outboards

Removal

1. Remove the intake assembly. Refer to Intake Manifold Removal.
2. Remove the MAP sensor retaining screw and bracket. Remove the MAP from the intake by pulling and twisting simultaneously (pulls out hard).

Installation

1. Lubricate the seal and push MAP sensor into the intake assembly.
2. Install the retaining clip and screw. Tighten the screw securely.
3. Install the intake assembly. Refer to Intake Manifold Installation.
